As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover to an obedient ear.


Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.


“Cry aloud! Don’t spare! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.


I tell y’all, whoever will not receive the Empire of God like a little child will never enter it.”


‘For I tell y’all that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from those who do not have, even what they have will be taken away.


And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them the things written about himself in all the Scriptures.

So they stayed there a considerable time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the message of his grace by granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.


After staying many more days in Corinth, Paul said farewell to the siblings, and sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. In Cenchreae, he shaved his head because he had taken a vow.


He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and with a fervent spirit, he spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John.


Paul entered the synagogue and spoke out boldly there for three months, discussing and persuading them about the Empire of God.


After appointing a day for him, they came to his lodging in even larger numbers. He explained to them from morning until evening, testifying about the Empire of God, working to persuade them about Jesus from the law of Moses and the prophets.


“How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” He invited Philip to come up and sit with him.


The eye can’t tell the hand, “I don’t need you.” And the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need y’all.”


Let no one deceive themself. If any of y’all thinks that they are wise in this world, let them become a fool so that they can become wise.


But if anyone thinks that they knows anything, they doesn’t yet know as they ought to know.


Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teaching about Christ and press on toward maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,


But y’all ought to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
