Now there was a man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Battalion.


The following day he entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends.


“Just then, three men sent to me from Caesarea stood in front of the house where I was staying.


Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.


From there they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had now completed.


They wrote these things by their hand: “The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, To those in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia, who are siblings among the ethnic groups: Greetings.


So they were sent off and came to Antioch. after gathering the group together, they delivered the letter.


However, Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, along with many others.


When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church, the apostles, and the elders, and they reported everything that God had done with them.


He summoned two of the centurions and said, “Y’all prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred men armed with spears, to go as far as Caesarea tonight.


Three days after Festus arrived in the province, he went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem.


But Festus, wanting to do the Jews a favor, replied to Paul, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me there on these charges?”


Philip appeared at Azotus and traveled through, preaching the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
