David was displeased because YHWH had broken out against Uzzah; and he called that place Perez Uzzah to this day.


YHWH’s anger burned against Uzza, and he struck him because he put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.


Because y’all didn’t carry it the first time, YHWH our God broke out in anger against us, for we did not seek ʜɪᴍ according to the ordinance.”


Then David said, “No one ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites. For YHWH has chosen them to carry the ark of God, and to minister to him forever.”


When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites must take it down. When the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites must set it up. The stranger who comes near must be put to death.


“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, and when the camp moves forward, then the sons of Kohath are to come to carry it. About ten days later, YHWH struck Nabal, so that he died.


He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of YHWH, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because YHWH had struck the people with a great slaughter.
