A simple person believes everything, but the prudent one carefully considers their ways.


The prudent sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple keep going and suffer for it.


“Look, I am sending y’all out as sheep among wolves. Therefore, y’all must be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.


Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? Be it far from me! Don’t let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.”


As soon as y’all have come into the city, y’all will immediately find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice. Afterwards those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up, for at this time y’all will find him.”
