Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?


Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him, and bound him in fetters to carry him to Babylon.


Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.


“As I live,” says YHWH, “though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, I would still pluck you from there.


Therefore YHWH says concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: “He will have no one to sit on David’s throne. His dead body will be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.


“Moreover, take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
