There is no mediator between us, that might lay ʜɪꜱ hand on us both.


This is what YHWH, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, YHWH Almighty, says: “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.


This is the account of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.


“Look! The virgin will conceive, and will give birth to a son. They will call his name Immanuel,” which means, “God with us.”


“The servant said, ‘Master, what you commanded has been done, but there is still room.’


The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.


This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.


There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to humans by which we must be saved!”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him.


So then, about eating things sacrificed to idols: we know that, “An idol is nothing in the world,” and that, “There is no God but one.”


yet to us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.


Now a mediator is not between only one person, but God is one.


one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.


Hear, Israel: YHWH is our God. YHWH is one.


I charge you before God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who before Pontius Pilate testified the excellent confession,


to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s.


Therefore he is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, because he lives forever to intercede for them.


But now Jesus has obtained a superior ministry, since he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.


For through this, he is the mediator of a new covenant—since a death has occurred for the ransom of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
