Sarai said to Abram, “This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, she despised me. May YHWH judge between me and you.”


On the seventh day God finished the work that ʜᴇ had been doing, and ʜᴇ rested on the seventh day from all the work ʜᴇ had done.


Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, fell on his neck, kissed him, and they wept.


Then the Spirit came on Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said, “We are yours, David, and on your side, you son of Jesse. Peace, peace be to you, and peace be to your helpers; for your God helps you.” Then David received them and made them captains of the band.


How painful are honest words! But y’all’s rebuke, what does it rebuke?


Plead my cause, and redeem me! Revive me according to your promise.


A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.


because I will give y’all such words and wisdom that all y’all’s adversaries will not be able to resist or refute.


Yet they weren’t able to stand up against the wisdom and the Spirit by whom he spoke.


Therefore I have not sinned against you, but you do me wrong to war against me. May YHWH the Judge be judge today between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.”


Saul recognized David’s voice, and said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” David said, “It is my voice, my lord, O king.”


Just as your life was respected today in my eyes, so let my life be respected in YHWH’s eyes, and let ʜɪᴍ deliver me out of all oppression.”
