7 But YHWH said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but YHWH looks at the heart.”

Now in all Israel there was no one to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty. From the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no defect in him.


What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Lord YHWH.


then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);


What can David say yet more to you concerning the honor which is done to your servant? For you know your servant.


You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for YHWH searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.


For YHWH’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.”


then hear from heaven your dwelling place and forgive, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of the children of men),


Do you have eyes of flesh? Or do you see as man sees?


Look to the skies, and see. See the skies, which are higher than you.


You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.


May the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous. The righteous God searched their minds and hearts.


Sheol and Abaddon are before YHWH— how much more then the hearts of the children of men!


A person’s are clean in their own eyes, but YHWH weighs the motives.


If you say, “But we didn’t know this,” doesn’t ʜᴇ who weighs the hearts consider it? Doesn’t ʜᴇ who keeps your soul know it? Will he not render to every person according their work?


Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears YHWH will be praised.


But, YHWH Almighty, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them; for to you I have revealed my cause.


“I, YHWH, search the heart. I examine the mind, to give every person according to their ways, according to the fruits of their actions.”


But YHWH Almighty, who tests the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for I have revealed my cause to you.


Jesus said to them, “Y’all are the ones who justify yourselves* in the sight of humans, but God knows y’all’s hearts. For what is highly esteemed by humans is detestable in the sight of God.


Y’all must stop judging according to appearance, but instead judge with righteous judgment.”


Y’all judge according to the flesh. I am not judging anyone.


They prayed and said, “You Lord, the heart-knower of all people, show us which one of these two you have chosen


For some say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speaking is forgettable.”


Y’all are looking at what’s in front of your face. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider this again from within: we belong to Christ just as much as they do.


No creature is hidden from ʜɪꜱ sight, but all things are naked and laid bare before the eyes of ʜɪᴍ to whom we must give an account.


As y’all come to him, the living stone, rejected by humans but chosen and precious to God,


but from the humanity hidden in the heart, the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.


I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of y’all according to y’all’s works.
