They traveled, and a terror of God was on the cities that were around them, and they didn’t pursue the sons of Jacob.


They struck all the cities around Gerar, for the fear of YHWH came on them. They plundered all the cities, for there was much plunder in them.


The fear of YHWH fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.


Now may the fear of YHWH be on y’all. Y’all must watch carefully and do it, for there is no injustice, partiality, or bribery with YHWH our God.”


YHWH Almighty is the one who y’all are to regard as holy. Hᴇ is the one y’all are to fear. Hᴇ is the one y’all are to dread.


When he had come into his house, he took a knife and cut up his concubine, and divided her, limb by limb, into twelve pieces, and sent her throughout all the borders of Israel.


Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, to YHWH at Mizpah.
