Far be it from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. Far be it from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”


But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You have been a helper to the victim and the fatherless.


Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, YHWH, God of truth.


Commit your way to YHWH. Trust also in ʜɪᴍ, and ʜᴇ will do this:


God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses wrath every day.


before YHWH. For ʜᴇ is coming, for ʜᴇ is coming to judge the earth. Hᴇ will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with ʜɪꜱ truth.


He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he didn’t open his mouth.


Surely we are punished justly, getting what we deserve for our actions, but this man has done nothing wrong.”


Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.


So he accosted him with many questions, but Jesus gave no response.


because ʜᴇ has appointed a day when ʜᴇ is going to judge the whole world in righteousness by the man ʜᴇ has designated, having provided assurance to everyone by raising him from the dead.”


And now, Lord, consider their threats and grant that your servants may speak your word with all boldness,

Now Saul was still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord. He went to the high priest


But according to your callous and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,


Masters, y’all are to treat them the same way without threatening them because y’all know that he who is both their Master and yours* is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.


This is clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment that y’all will be counted worthy of the Empire of God, for which y’all are suffering,


and this is the reason I am suffering. But I am not ashamed, because I know ʜɪᴍ whom I have believed, and I am convinced that ʜᴇ is able to guard my deposit until that day.


Finally the crown of righteousness is reserved for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day. And not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.


For y’all should contemplate him and the hostility he endured from sinners, so that y’all don’t grow weary and lose heart.


Y’all are not to return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead give a blessing, because y’all were called so that y’all would inherit a blessing.


Therefore, those who suffer according to the will of God should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator as they do good.


I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse. The one who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and wages war.
