“Yes, I know y’all’s thoughts, the schemes by which y’all would wrong me.


All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me!


Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.


But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous.


Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.


“If y’all love those who love y’all, what credit is that to y’all? Even sinners love those who love them.


But they will do all these things to y’all for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me.


When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and exhorted them all to remain true to the Lord with purpose in their hearts.


Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also because of conscience.


But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not futile. No, I worked more than all of them–yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.


Now this is our boast: the testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward y’all, with godly integrity and sincerity, not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.


Now, siblings, we want y’all to know about the grace of God that was given to the churches of Macedonia.


and this is the reason I am suffering. But I am not ashamed, because I know ʜɪᴍ whom I have believed, and I am convinced that ʜᴇ is able to guard my deposit until that day.


Otherwise, wouldn’t they have stopped being offered, because the worshipers would have been cleansed once and for all and would no longer be conscious of sins?


But what credit is it if y’all endure a beating for doing wrong? But if y’all endure suffering when doing good, this is commendable before God.


But let none of y’all suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or one who meddles in the affairs of others.
