Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast that is in Judah, and he went up to the altar. He did so in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made, and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places that he had made.


So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before YHWH our God, seven days and seven more days, even fourteen days.


So all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month.


They kept the feast of booths, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;


“You are to speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to YHWH.


Now the Jewish Festival of Booths was near.


Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let them come to me and drink!


You are to celebrate the feast of booths seven days, after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your wine press.
