Y’all must not listen to Hezekiah.’ For the king of Assyria says, ‘Y’all must make your peace with me, and come* out to me. Then each of y’all will eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern


He will build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.


He will build a house for my name. And he will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’


Take heed now, for YHWH has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”


He said to me, ‘Solomon, your son, will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.


“‘Therefore y’all are to do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them, so that y’all will dwell in the land in safety.


The land will yield its fruit, and y’all may eat your fill, and y’all may dwell there in safety.


But every human will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid, for the mouth of YHWH Almighty has spoken.


In that day,’ says YHWH Almighty, ‘every one of y’all will invite their neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”


Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.


Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, to YHWH at Mizpah.
