6 Solomon said, “You have shown to your servant David my father great lovingkindness, because he walked before you in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great lovingkindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

He said to me, ‘YHWH, before whom I walk, will send ʜɪꜱ angel with you, and prosper your way. You are to take a wife for my son from my relatives, and of my father’s house.


YHWH rewarded me according to my righteousness. He rewarded me according to the cleanness of my hands.


Therefore YHWH has rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyesight.


“Go and tell my servant David, ‘YHWH says, “Should you build me a house for me to dwell in?


Also thus said the king, ‘Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel, who has given one to sit on my throne today, my eyes even seeing it.’”


because David did that which was right in YHWH’s eyes, and didn’t turn away from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.


Then YHWH may establish ʜɪꜱ word which he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your children are careful of their way, and walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you will never fail to have,’ he said, ‘a man on the throne of Israel.’


If you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”


As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,


“Please YHWH, remember how I have walked before you in truth and with a whole heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.


Solomon said to God, “You have shown great lovingkindness to David my father, and have made me king in his place.


Return to your rest, my soul, for YHWH has dealt bountifully with you.


Do good to your servant. I will live and I will obey your word.


I will sing to YHWH, because ʜᴇ has been good to me.


The one who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in their heart;


Not so with my servant Moses is. He is faithful in all my house.


Y’all will be enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.


So I deemed it necessary to urge the siblings to go on ahead to y’all and arrange ahead of time the generous gift y’all had promised. Then it would be ready as a matter of generosity, rather than coercion.
