Let me get a little bit of bread so y’all can refresh y’all’s heart. After that y’all may go y’all’s way, now that y’all have come to y’all’s servant.” They said, “Very well, do as you have said.”


Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”


He returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him; and he said, “See now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel. Now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.”


When Jeremiah had not yet turned to go, Nebuzaradan said to him, “Go back then to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people, or go wherever it seems right to you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him food and a present, and let him go.

Y’all are to shepherd the flock of God around y’all, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly according to God’s direction; not for dishonest gain, but eagerly;


Manoah said to the Angel of YHWH, “Please stay with us, that we may make a young goat ready for you.”


So he brought him into his house, and gave the donkeys fodder. Then they washed their feet, and ate and drank.
