He gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which YHWH has spoken: The altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”


When the king heard the message that man of God cried against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, “Y’all seize him!” But the hand that he stretched out against him dried up, so that he could not pull it back again to himself.


The king answered the man of God, “Now intercede for the favor of YHWH your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again.” The man of God interceded with YHWH, and the king’s hand was restored to him again, and became as it was before.


The jar of meal didn’t run out and the jar of oil didn’t fail, according to the word of YHWH, which he spoke by Elijah.


Micaiah said, “If you return-return in peace, YHWH has not spoken by me.” Then he said, “All people, y’all must listen!”


The battle increased that day. The king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, and died at evening. The blood ran out of the wound into the bottom of the chariot.


“For in the day that I visit the transgressions of Israel on him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar will be cut off, and fall to the ground.


They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.]


When a prophet speaks in the name of YHWH, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which YHWH has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You are not to be afraid of him.
