“Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.


A new commandment I give to y’all, that y’all love one another. Just as I have loved y’all, so y’all must love one another.


Y’all didn’t choose me, but I chose y’all and appointed y’all so that y’all would go and bear fruit, and that y’all’s fruit should remain. And so that whatever y’all ask in my name, the Father will give to y’all.


For God so loved the world, that ʜᴇ gave ʜɪꜱ only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.


I am the living bread which came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”


Therefore he had to be made like his siblings in every way, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.


“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By his wounds, y’all were healed.”


For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring y’all to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit.


And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not just ours, but also for the whole world.


Y’all look at the kind of love the Father has given to us—that we should be called children of God! And indeed we are! For this reason the world doesn’t know us: because it didn’t know ʜɪᴍ.


We love, because ʜᴇ first loved us.


The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in ʜɪꜱ Son.
