Righteousness goes before ʜɪᴍ, and prepares the way for ʜɪꜱ steps.


Take my yoke upon y’all and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and y’all will find rest for your* souls.


I have given y’all an example so that y’all should also do what I have done for y’all.


If y’all keep my commandments, y’all will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in ʜɪꜱ love.


Y’all should be imitators of me, even as I am of Christ.


Y’all walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.


To this y’all were called, because Christ suffered for y’all, leaving an example, so that y’all would follow his steps.


Now, little children, y’all must continue to abide in him so that when he appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.


The one who says, “I know him,” and yet doesn’t keep ʜɪꜱ commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in that person.


Anyone who keeps ʜɪꜱ commandments remains in ʜɪᴍ, and ʜᴇ in that person. By this we know that ʜᴇ remains in us, by the Spirit which ʜᴇ gave us.


Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.


In this, love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as Jesus is, so also are we in this world.
