10 ¶ Because thou hast kept the words of my patience, I will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which will come upon all the world, to tempt them that dwell upon the earth.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.


watch and pray, that ye fall not into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.


Lead us not in to temptation: but deliver us from evil, Amen.


Verily I say unto you: wheresoever this gospel shall be preached thorowout the whole world: this also that she hath done, shall be rehearsed in remembrance of her.


¶ It followed in those days: that there went out a commandment from August the Emperor, that all the world should be valued.


I have declared thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy sayings.


¶ First verily I thank my God thorow Iesus Christ for you all, because your faith is published throughout all the worlde.


There hath none other temptation taken you, but such as followeth the nature of man. God is faithful, which shall not suffer you to be tempted above your strength: but shall in the midst of the temptation make a way to escape out.


¶ For this cause take unto you the armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand perfect in all things.


If we be patient, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he also shall deny us.


Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries: other a vine bear figs? So can no fountain give both salt water and fresh also.


¶ Dearly beloved, be not troubled in this heat, which now is come among you to try you, as though some strange thing had happened unto you:


The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and how to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment for to be punished:


¶ Ihon your brother and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience which is in Iesu Christ, was in the isle of Pathmos for the word of God, and for the witnessing of Iesu Christ.


And they that dwell upon the earth, shall rejoice over them and be glad, and shall send gifts one to another: for these two prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.


He that leadeth into captivity, shall go into captivity: he that killeth with a sword, must be killed with a sword. Here is the patience, and the faith of the saints.


And deceived them that dwelt on the earth, by the means of those signs which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwelt on the earth: that they should make an image unto the beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did live.


and all that dwell upon the earth worshipped him: whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb, which was killed from the beginning of the world.


Here is the patience of saints. Here are they that keep the commandments and the fayght of Iesu.


¶ And I saw an angel fly in the midst of heaven having an everlasting gospel, to preach unto them that sit and dwell on the earth, and to all nations, kindreds, and tongues, and people,


For they are the spirits of devils working miracles, to go out unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God almighty.


with whom have committed fornication the kings of the earth, so that the inhabiters of the earth, are drunken with the wine of her fornication.


The beast that thou seest, was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and shall go into perdition, and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder (whose names are not written in the book of life from he beginning of the world) when they behold the beast that was, and is not.


Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil shall cast of you into prison, to tempt you, and ye shall have tribulation x. days. Be faithful unto the death, and I will give thee a crown of life.


I know your works. Behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it, for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my sayings: and hast not denied my name.


and they cried with a loud voice saying: How long tarriest thou Lord holy and true, to judge and to avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?


And I beheld and heard an angel flying thorow the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice: Woe, Woe, to the inhabiters of the earth because of the voices to come of the trompe of the iij. angels which were yet to blow.
