And he shall send his angels with the great voice of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his chosen from the four winds, and from the one end of the world to the other.


Therefore be ye also ready, for what hour ye think least on, in the same shall the son of man come.


¶ Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened unto x. virgins, which took their lamps, and went to meet the bridegroom:


¶ When the son of man shall come in his majesty, and all his holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty,


While the bridegroom tarried, all slumbered and slept.


Then all those virgins arose, and prepared their lamps.


But God said unto him: Thou fool, this night will they fetch away thy soul again from thee. Then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?


the Lord of that servant will come in a day, when he thinketh not, and at an hour when he is not ware, and will divide him, and will give him his reward, with the unbelievers.


For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and trumpe of God. And the dead in Christe shall arise first:


Nevertheless the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which day, the heavens shall perish with terrible noise, and the elements shall melt with heat, and the earth with the works that are therein shall burn.


Behold I come as a thief. Happy is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments, Lest he be found naked, and men see his filthiness.
