¶ Then were brought to him young children, that he should put his hands on them and pray. And his disciples rebuked them.


And the people rebufed them, because they should hold their peace: But they cried the more, saying: have mercy on us master which art the son of David.


¶ And as Iesus departed thence, two blind men followed him crying, and saying: O thou son of David, have mercy on us.


¶ And they brought children to him that he should touch them. And his disciples chid those that brought them.


¶ While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, certain which said: thy daughter is dead: why diseasest thou the Master any further?


And they which went before rebuked him, because he should hold his peace. And he much the more cried, The son of David, have mercy on me.


and pray always with all manner prayer and supplication: and that in the spirit: and watch thereunto with all instance and supplication for all saints,


Which in the days of his flesh, did offer up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death: and was also heard, because he had God in reverence.
