Truly I say unto you, it shall be easier for the land of Sodom, and Gomorra, in the day of judgement, than for that city.


¶ Then shall the king say unto them that shall be on the left hand: depart from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire, which is prepared for the devil and his angels.


And lo they cried out saying: O Iesu the son of God, what have we to do with thee? art thou come hither to torment us before the time be come?


¶ Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father, ye will follow: He was a murderer from the beginning, And abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, then speaketh he of his own. For he is a liar, and the father thereof.


¶ But thou after thine hard heart that cannot repent, heapest thee together the treasure of wrath against the day of vengeance, when shall be opened the righteous judgement of God,


For we wrestle not against flesh and blood: but against rule, against power, and against worldly rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly things.


but a fearful looking for judgment, and violent fire, which shall devour the adversaries.


¶ For if God spared not the angels that sinned but cast them down into hell, and put them in chains of darkness, there to be kept unto judgement:


The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and how to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment for to be punished:


They are raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame. They are wandering stars, to whom is reserved the mist of darkness for ever.


and the devil that deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were and shall be tormented day and night for ever more.


And he took the dragon that old serpent, which is the devil and satanas, and he bound him a thousand years:
