¶ He that loveth his father, or mother more than me, is not worthy of me. And he that loveth his son, or daughter more than me, is not meet for me.


So likewise, none of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, can be my disciple.


Then came he out of the land of Caldey, and dwelt in Charran. And after that as soon as his father was dead, he brought him into this land, wherein ye now dwell,


Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves (saith the Lord) and touch none unclean thing: so will I receive you,


¶ By faith Abraham, when he was called obeyed to go out into a place, which he should afterward receive to inheritance, and he went out, not knowing whither he should go.
