While he yet spake, behold a bright cloud shadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud said: This is my dear son, in whom I delight, hear him.


But if he hear thee not, then take yet with thee one or two, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses, all things may stand.


Go therefore and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the father, and the son, and the holy ghost:


¶ In the beginning was that word, and that word was with god: and god was that word.


Father glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.


which is the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because the world seeth him not, neither knoweth him. But ye know him. For he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.


But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, which is the spirit of verity, which proceedeth of the father, he shall testify of me.


For as the father hath life in himself, so likewise hath he given to the son to have life in himself.


I am one that bear witness of myself, and my father that sent me beareth witness of me.


¶ Iesus answered: If I praise myself, mine praise is nothing worth. It is my father that praiseth me, which ye say is your God.


¶ Since now that he by the right hand of God exalted is, and hath received of the father the promise of the holy Ghost, he hath shed forth that which ye now see and hear.


And we are his records as concerning these things: and also the holy ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

¶ That which was from the beginning declare we unto you, which we have heard which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life.


¶ This Iesus Christ is he that came by water and blood, not by water only: but by water and blood. And it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth.


And there are three which bear record in earth: the spirit, and water, and blood: and these three are one.


And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the word of God.
