6 ¶ This Iesus Christ is he that came by water and blood, not by water only: but by water and blood. And it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth.

This is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many, for the forgiveness of sins.


And Iesus as soon as he was baptised, came straight out of the water. And lo heaven was open unto him: and he saw the spirit of God descend like a dove, and light upon him.


And he said unto them: This is my blood of the new Testament, which shall be shed for many.


Likewise also, when they had supped, he took the cup saying: This is the cup, the new testament, in my blood, which shall for you be shed.


which is the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because the world seeth him not, neither knoweth him. But ye know him. For he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.


Iesus said unto him I am the way, the verity, and life. No man cometh unto the father, but by me.


But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, which is the spirit of verity, which proceedeth of the father, he shall testify of me.


When he is once come (I mean the spirit of verity,) he will lead you into all truth. He shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will shew you things to come.


Iesus answered: verily, verily I say unto thee: except that a man be born of water, and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.


Iesus answered and said unto her: if thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is, that sayeth to thee give me drink: thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee water of life.


But whosoever shall drink of the water that I shall give him, shall never be more a thirst: But the water that I shall give him, shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.


For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.


And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water, and the gelded man said: See here is water, what shall let me to be baptised?


whom God hath made a seat of mercy thorow faith in his blood, to shew the righteousness which before him is of valour, in that he forgiveth the sins that are passed,


¶ By whom we have redemption thorow his blood, that is to say the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,


since we heard of your faith which ye have in Christ Iesu: and of the love which ye bear to all saints


And without nay great is that mystery of godliness. God was shewed in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, was seen of angels, was preached unto the gentiles, was believed on in earth and received up in glory.


not of the deeds of righteousness which we wrought, but of his mercy, he saved us, by the fountain of the new birth, and with the renewing of the holy ghost,


Of how much sorer punishment suppose ye shall he be counted worthy, which treadeth under foot the son of God: and counteth the blood of the testament as an unholy thing, wherewith he was sanctified, and doth dishonour to the spirit of grace.


and to Iesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood that speaketh better then the blood of Abel.


¶ The God of peace that brought again from death our Lord Iesus Christ, the great shepherd of the sheep, thorow the blood of the everlasting testament,


How much more shall the blood of Christ (which thorow the eternal spirit, offered himself without spot to God) purge our consciences from dead works, for to serve the living God?


Into the second went the high priest alone, once every year: but not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the ignorance of the people:


elect by the foreknowledge of God the father, thorow the sanctifying of the spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Iesus Christ. Grace be with you, and peace be multiplied.


which signifieth baptism that now saveth us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but in that a good conscience consenteth to God, by the resurrection of Iesus Christ,


but and if we walk in light even as he is in light, then have we fellowship with him, and the blood of Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.


Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to make agreement for our sins.


and from Iesus Christ which is a faithful witness, and first begotten of the dead: and Lord over the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood,


and they sung a new song saying: thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast killed, and hast redeemed us by thy blood, out of all kindreds, and tongues, and people, and nations,


And I said unto him: Lord thou wottest. And he said unto me: these are they which came out of great tribulation and made their garments large, and made them white in the blood of the lamb:
