And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the heathens.


And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, shall be saved.


It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord.


He that findeth his life, shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall find it. He that entertaineth you, entertaineth me;


And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my names sake, shall receive an hundred fold, and inherit everlasting life.


Then shall they deliver you to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.


And they that were passing by reviled him, wagging their heads and saying,


And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake; but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.


But take heed to yourselves for they will deliver you to councils, and ye shall be beaten in synagogues, and shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.


afterward when affliction or persecution ariseth because of the word, they are presently offended.


For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life, for my sake and the gospels, he shall save it.


But before all these things they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my names sake.


And ye shall be hated by all men for my names sake.


Happy are ye when men shall hate you, and shall separate you from their company, and shall revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.


For who|oever will save his life shall gose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, he shall save it:


But all these things will they do to you, for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.


Are ye also willing to be his disciples? Then they reviled him and said, Thou art a disciple of that fellow; but we are disciples of Moses.


For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.


(As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)


We are fools for Christ's sake; but ye are wise in Christ: we are weak; but ye are strong: ye are honourable; but we are despised.


We who live are always delivered unto death for the sake of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal body.


This also is of God. For to you it is given, with regard to Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him:


Who when he was reviled, reviled not again, when he suffered he threatened not, but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:


If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil-spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.


and hast borne for my name's sake, and hast not fainted.
