Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth the man, but what cometh out of the mouth, this defileth the man.


Then Jesus saith to him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.


Jesus said to him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.


And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.


And Jesus answering said to him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.


And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.


And Jesus answering said to him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.


But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.


It is the Spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken, they are spirit and they are life.


For whatsoever things were written aforetime, were written for our instruction, that we, through patience and consolation of the scriptures, may have hope.


And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
