All things therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, observe and do;


For I say to you, That unless your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.


But the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.


And on a certain day as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every town of Galilee, and out of Judea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.


And the scribes and the Pharisees reasoned, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies?


But the scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?


And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem, to ask him, Who art thou?


And there was a great clamour: and the scribes of the Pharisees side arising, contended, saying, We find no evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.


And when he was come, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem, stood round about him, bringing many and heavy accusations against Paul, which they were not able to prove:
