And Jesus seeing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts?


Who can forgive sins, but God only?


Which is easier? To say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven thee?


For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,


And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do reasonings arise in your hearts?


Who can forgive sins but God only? And Jesus knowing their thoughts, answered and said to them, Why reason ye in your hearts?


But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man that had the withered hand, Rise up and stand forth in the midst.


He saith to him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him, Feed my sheep. He saith to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.


But there are some of you who believe not. (For Jesus had known from the beginning, who they were that believed not, and who would betray him.)


But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart, to lie to the Holy Ghost?


Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart may be forgiven thee.


Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.


And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know, that I am he who searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give you, every man, according to your works.
