Then was Jesus led up by the Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the devil.


And when the days of purification were fulfilled according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord:


He took him up in his arms, and blessed God and said, Lord,


Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year, at the feast of the passover.


And seeing him they were amazed. And his mother said to him, Son, why hast thou done thus to us? Behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,


While Peter was musing on the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, men seek thee.
