As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies,


And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them the things in all the scriptures, concerning himself.


And he said to them, These are the words which I spake to you, being yet with you, that all things written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms concerning me, must be fulfilled.


To him give all the prophets witness, that every one who believeth in him, shall receive forgiveness of sins through his name.


And having appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he expounded the kingdom of God, testifying and persuading them concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the prophets, from morning till evening.


But God hath thus fulfilled the things which he foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer.


who was before appointed, Whom heaven must receive, till the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets.


Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.


Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, On whom all the building fitly framed together,


Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed to the holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,


That thou keep the commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Which in his times the blessed and only Potentate will shew,


For it had been better for them, not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.


And account the long-suffering of our Lord salvation, as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given him , hath written to you:


As also in all his epistles, speaking therein of these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.


We are of God; he that knoweth God, heareth us: he that is not of God, heareth not us: hereby know we the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.


But ye, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.


And I fell before his feet to worship him: but he saith to me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
