No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.


In him was life, and the life was the light of men.


And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.


Jesus saith, I am the way; and the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me.


Ye also testify, because ye have been with me from the beginning.


I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and go to the Father.


And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.


And now, Father, glorify thou me with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee, before the world was.


And he that saw, hath testified it, and his testimony is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye may believe.


This was the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after he was risen from the dead.


For no one hath gone up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, the Son of man, who is in heaven.


But I know him; for I am from him, and he hath sent me.


I speak that which I have seen with my father, and ye do that which ye have heard from your father.


Beginning from the baptism of John, till the day that he was taken up from us, one must be ordained, to be a witness with us of his resurrection.


(Not to all the people, but to witnesses, chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him) after he rose from the dead.


This Jesus God hath raised up, whereof all we are witnesses.


But ye killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses.


And we are witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.


For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God hath done: sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, to be a sacrifice for sin, he hath condemned sin in the flesh:


But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son,


The mystery of godliness is the pillar and ground of the truth, and without controversy a great thing: God was manifested in the flesh, was justified by the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up into glory.


But is now made manifest, by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.


In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began;


The elders that are among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and likewise a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed,


That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have beheld, and our hands have handled of the word of life:


And this is the promise which he hath promised us, eternal life.


And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.


He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning: to this end the son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.


And we have seen and testify, that the Father sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.


Hereby ye know the spirit of God: every spirit which confesseth Jesus Christ come in the flesh, is of God.


And this is the testimony, that God hath given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.


These things have I written to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Son of God.


But we know that the Son of God is come; and he hath given us an understanding that we may know the true one; and we are in the true one, even in his Son Jesus Christ; this is the true God and eternal life.
