Adonai also thundered from heaven and Elyon gave forth His voice.


when He set a limit for the rain and a path for the thunderstorm,


Indeed, who can understand the spreading of the clouds, and the thunder from His pavilion?


His thunder declares His presence, the cattle also, about what is coming.


“At this my heart trembles and leaps from its place.


After that a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice. He does not hold them back when His voice is heard.


God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things beyond our comprehension.


Then Adonai answered Job out of the whirlwind. He said:


Do you have an arm like God’s and can you thunder with a voice like His?


At Your rebuke the waters fled. At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.


At His giving voice— tumult of waters in the skies! He causes clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain and brings forth wind from His storehouses.
