“But turn, all of you, come now! I will not find a wise man among you.


Because You have closed their heart to understanding, therefore You will not exalt them.


“How long until you end these words? Consider, and then we will talk.


You, who tear yourself to pieces in anger, will the earth be abandoned for your sake? Or must a rock be moved from its place?


I was brutish and ignorant. I was like a beast before You.


I also said in my heart, “As for the sons of man, God tests them so that they may see that they are but animals.”


Be tenderly devoted to one another in brotherly love; outdo one another in giving honor.


He may strike him 40 times but no more. Otherwise he would beat him with too many a wound beyond these, and your brother would be degraded in your eyes.
