Afterward his brother came out with his hand holding onto Esau’s heel—so he was named Jacob. Isaac was 60 years old when he fathered them.


Now these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life that he lived: 175 years.


Now Jacob lived in the land of Egypt for 17 years, so the days of Jacob, the years of his life, were 147 years.


Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my sojourn are 130 years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life. Moreover, the days of the years of my life have not attained the days of the years of the lives of my fathers, in the days of their sojourn.”


So Joseph died at 110 years old, and they embalmed him and he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.
