Then Adonai said to Abram, “Get going out from your land, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you.


Then Adonai appeared to Abram, and said, “I will give this land to your seed.” So there he built an altar to Adonai, who had appeared to him.


Abram was 86 years old when Hagar gave birth to Ishmael for Abram.


Then Adonai appeared to him at Mamre’s large trees while he was sitting in the entrance of his tent during the heat of the day.


Is anything too difficult for Adonai? At the appointed time I will return to you—in about a year—and Sarah will have a son.”


So he said to me, ‘Adonai, before whom I’ve walked continually, will send His angel with you, and He will make your way successful, and you will take a wife for my son from my family and from my father’s household.


Then Adonai appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt. Dwell in the land about which I tell you.


Now may El Shaddai bless you, and make you fruitful and multiply you so that you will become an assembly of peoples.


God also said to him: “I am El Shaddai. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and an assembly of nations will come from you. From your loins will come forth kings.


May El Shaddai grant you mercy before the man, so that he may release your other brother to you, along with Benjamin. As for me, if I am bereaved, I am bereaved.”


“I am God, the God of your father,” He said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will turn you into a great nation there.


Then he blessed Joseph and said, “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has shepherded me throughout my life to this day,


Then Jacob said to Joseph, “El Shaddai appeared to me in Luz, in the land of Canaan, and blessed me.”


Now Enoch walked with God continually for 300 years after he fathered Methuselah, and he fathered sons and daughters.


And Enoch continually walked with God—then he was not there, because God took him.


These are the genealogies of Noah. Noah was a righteous man. He was blameless among his generation. Noah continually walked with God.


so that Adonai may fulfill His word which He spoke concerning me, saying: ‘If your children watch their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’


Solomon said: “You have shown my father Your servant David great lovingkindness, as he walked before You in truth, righteousness and uprightness of heart toward You. Indeed, You have kept this great lovingkindness for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.


“Now therefore, Adonai, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father what You have promised him, saying: ‘You shall not lack a man to sit before Me on the throne of Israel, if only your children watch their way, walking before Me as you have walked before Me.’


“Please, Adonai, remember how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.


There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. Now that man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.


“Can you discover the mysteries of God? Can you find the limits of Shaddai?


Our God is in the heavens— He does whatever pleases Him!


I will walk before Adonai in the lands of the living.


The secret of Adonai is for those who fear Him. He makes His covenant known to them.


I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, as El Shaddai. Yet by My Name, Adonai, I made Myself known to them.


One who walks in integrity, walks securely, but one who takes crooked paths will be discovered.


He said: “Please, Adonai, remember how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.


“Ah, my Lord Adonai! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm—nothing is too hard for You!


He has told you, humanity, what is good, and what Adonai is seeking from you: Only to practice justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.


Adonai said to Moses, “Is Adonai’s arm too short? Now you will see whether My word will come true for you or not.”


the oracle of one hearing God’s speech, one experiencing Elyon’s knowledge, one seeing Shaddai’s vision, one fallen down, yet with open eyes:


And looking, Yeshua said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”


Therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”


Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in all His commandments and instructions.


Paul, looking intently at the Sanhedrin, said, “Brothers, I have lived my life in all good conscience for God up to this day.”


“Therefore I do my best always to have a clear conscience before both God and men.


Now to Him who is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine, by means of His power that works in us,


For Adonai your God is God of gods and Lord of lords —the great, mighty and awesome God, who does not show partiality or take a bribe.


You are to be blameless before Adonai your God.


by loving Adonai your God, listening to His voice, and clinging to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell on the land that Adonai swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob—to give them.


I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.


Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude—through this we may offer worship in a manner pleasing to God, with reverence and awe.


Therefore He is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, always living to make intercession for them.
