David spoke to Adonai the words of this song in the day that Adonai delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.


For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and speak.


For I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.


Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.


For I know that after my death you will certainly act corruptly and turn aside from the way I have commanded you. So evil will fall upon you in the latter days, because you will do what is evil in the sight of Adonai, provoking Him to anger by the work of your hands.”


“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak! Let the earth hear the words of my mouth.


Then Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people—he and Joshua son of Nun.


“See, just as Adonai my God commanded me, I have taught you statutes and ordinances to do in the land that you are about to enter to possess.


He was faithful to the One who appointed Him in His house—as was Moses also.


Now Moses surely was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, for a witness of things to be spoken later.
