He closed the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. All eyes in the synagogue were focused on Him.


Yeshua says to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”


Seeing him lying there and knowing he had been that way a long time, Yeshua said to him, “Do you want to get well?”


He stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” The angel said to him, “Your prayers and tzadakah have gone up as a memorial offering before God.


I looked inside, considering it carefully, and saw four-footed creatures of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the air.


Now Peter and John were going up to the Temple at the ninth hour, the time of prayer.


While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people together came running toward them in the place called Solomon’s Portico.


But when Peter saw, he responded to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Why do you stare at us—as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?


When he saw Peter and John about to go into the Temple, he began asking to receive tzadakah.


So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
