The God of Israel has said, the Rock of Israel has spoken to me, ‘He who rules over men righteously, he who rules in the fear of God—


David then realized that Adonai had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.


David reigned over all Israel, and David executed justice and righteousness for all his people.


When all Israel heard of the verdict that the king had given, they were in awe of the king. For they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.


So those officers provided food for King Solomon and all who came to King Solomon’s table, each in his month. They let nothing be lacking.


You made Your people Israel Your own people forever, and You, Adonai, became their God.


Then Huram continued, “Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth. He gave King David a wise son, endowed with insight and understanding, who will build a House for Adonai and a royal house for himself.


They came against me in my day of calamity, but Adonai was my support.


All who see me mock me. They curl their lips, shaking their heads:


May he judge Your people with righteousness, and Your poor ones with justice.


Behold My servant, whom I uphold. My Chosen One, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Ruach on Him, He will bring justice to the nations.


No longer will you be termed “Forsaken”, no longer your land termed “Desolate”. Instead you will be called, “My Delight is in Her” and your land, “Married”. For Adonai delights in you, and your land will be married.


Of the increase of His government and shalom there will be no end— on the throne of David and over His kingdom— to establish it and uphold it through justice and righteousness from now until forevermore. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.


Adonai sent a word to Jacob, and it fell upon Israel.


Again I will build you, so you will be rebuilt, virgin Israel! Again you will take up your tambourines as ornaments, and go out to dances of merrymakers.


“I loved you,” says Adonai. But you say: “How have you loved us?” “Was Esau not Jacob’s brother?” —it is the declaration of Adonai— “Yet I loved Jacob


Rather, because of His love for you and His keeping the oath He swore to your fathers, Adonai brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
