When they hand you over, do not be anxious about how to speak or what to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.


The seed sown among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.


“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.


Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.


But Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, yoʋ are anxious and troubled about many things,


Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.


And do not be concerned about what you will eat or what you will drink; do not be anxious about such things.


Then Jesus told them a parable about the need to pray at all times and not lose heart.


And will not God surely bring about justice to his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night, while also being patient with them?


Were yoʋ a slave when yoʋ were called? Do not be concerned about it, but if yoʋ are able to become free, make the most of the opportunity.


But I want you to be free from concern. The unmarried man is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, how he will please the Lord.
