And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are yoʋ, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to yoʋ, but my Father in heaven.


“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of my Father in heaven.


Again, truly I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.


and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like little children, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.


My heavenly Father will also do the same to you if each one of you, from your hearts, does not forgive his brother for his trespasses.”


Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”


But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast. Then the door was shut.


His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! Yoʋ have been faithful over a few things; I will set yoʋ over many things. Enter into the joy of yoʋr master.’


And going a little farther, he fell on his face and prayed, “My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as yoʋ will.”


Again, he went away for a second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cup cannot pass from me unless I drink it, may yoʋr will be done.”


For whoever does the will of God is my brother and my sister and mother.”


And if yoʋr eye causes yoʋ to stumble, tear it out. It is better for yoʋ to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fires of hell,


But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”


Once the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will answer you, ‘I do not know you or where you are from.’


For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”


“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?


If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”


Whoever hates me hates my Father also.


Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.


But Jesus responded to them, “My Father is still working even now, and I too am working.”


And this is the will of him who sent me, that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”


If anyone wants to do his will, he will know whether my teaching comes from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.


strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and telling them that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.


Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may determine what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.


For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.


Do not try to please them only when they are watching you, but act like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.


Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ, greets you, always striving for you in his prayers, so that you may stand mature and complete in all the will of God.


It is God's will that you be sanctified, that you abstain from fornication,


in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.


They profess to know God, but by their works they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient, and proven unqualified for any good work.


equip you in every good work so that you may do his will. May he accomplish in you what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.


Therefore, since God's rest remains open for some to enter, and those who formerly received good news did not enter because of their disobedience,


But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.


For it is God's will that you silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.


so as to live his remaining time in the flesh no longer for the evil desires of men, but for the will of God.


and he will rule them with a rod of iron; like earthen vessels they will be shattered, just as I have received authority from my Father.


Blessed are those who keep his commandments, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates.


He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments. I will certainly not blot out his name from the book of life, but will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
