For from within, from the hearts of men, come evil thoughts, adultery, fornication, murder,


All these evil things come from within and defile a person.”


We tear down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.


For it is God's will that you silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.


In the same way, you who are younger must submit to your elders. And all of you must clothe yourselves with humility as you submit to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
