In response Jesus said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”


Now his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’


He was in the world, and the world was made through him, but the world did not know him.


But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,


Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, yoʋr mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home.


He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony.


“Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the message of this salvation has been sent.


But Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly, saying, “It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. But since you are rejecting it and do not judge yourselves to be worthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.


After saying goodbye to one another, we got on board the ship, and they returned to their homes.


Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a servant to the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order to confirm the promises that were made to the fathers,


I am speaking the truth in Christ. My conscience confirms through the Holy Spirit that I am not lying when I say


To them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, came the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.


But when the fullness of time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
