But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, apart from a matter of fornication, makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.


Flee fornication. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.


Now concerning the matters about which you wrote to me: “It is good for a man not to touch a woman.”


The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.


But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.


In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.


Nevertheless, each man among you must love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.


and that each of you know how to control your own body in holiness and honor,


They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
