So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.


A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.


Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.


Pay all of them their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.


For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”


And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.


whereas the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith.


If you really fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.


By this it may be seen who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not do right is not of God, nor he who does not love his brother.
