With my whole heart I seek thee; let me not wander from thy commandments!


And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!


Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.


He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.


My foot stands on level ground; in the great congregation I will bless the Lord.


Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of my enemies; make thy way straight before me.


For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is destruction, their throat is an open sepulchre, they flatter with their tongue.


He will requite my enemies with evil; in thy faithfulness put an end to them.


Who can search out our crimes? We have thought out a cunningly conceived plot.” For the inward mind and heart of a man are deep!


Teach me thy way, O Lord, that I may walk in thy truth; unite my heart to fear thy name.


The way of a sluggard is overgrown with thorns, but the path of the upright is a level highway.


They are all straight to him who understands and right to those who find knowledge.


And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not pass over it, and fools shall not err therein.


For I hear many whispering. Terror is on every side! “Denounce him! Let us denounce him!” say all my familiar friends, watching for my fall. “Perhaps he will be deceived, then we can overcome him, and take our revenge on him.”


So they watched him, and sent spies, who pretended to be sincere, that they might take hold of what he said, so as to deliver him up to the authority and jurisdiction of the governor.
