And Asa cried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like thee to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on thee, and in thy name we have come against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.”


Were not the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army with exceedingly many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the Lord, he gave them into your hand.


But I said, “Should such a man as I flee? And what man such as I could go into the temple and live? I will not go in.”


Preserve me, O God, for in thee I take refuge.


O my God, in thee I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.


But I trust in thee, O Lord, I say, “Thou art my God.”


in God I trust without a fear. What can man do to me?


O Lord my God, in thee do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me,
