not like the covenant which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord.


But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.


And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her; and she served them.


And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”


But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.


And when he came to the house, he permitted no one to enter with him, except Peter and John and James, and the father and mother of the child.


And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.


And her spirit returned, and she got up at once; and he directed that something should be given her to eat.


When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.”


For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.


But Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed; then turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, rise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.


as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
