Extol the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy!


“I have heard the murmurings of the people of Israel; say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; then you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’ ”


And the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,


and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”


“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


You shall do likewise with your oxen and with your sheep: seven days it shall be with its dam; on the eighth day you shall give it to me.


“You shall be men consecrated to me; therefore you shall not eat any flesh that is torn by beasts in the field; you shall cast it to the dogs.


You shall serve the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.


and I will take you for my people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in exchange for you.

Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.


You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.


Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am the Lord your God.


You shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your God; he shall be holy to you; for I the Lord, who sanctify you, am holy.


“Do two walk together, unless they have made an appointment?


So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.


You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.


For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, out of all the peoples that are on the face of the earth.


For God has not called us for uncleanness, but in holiness.


But Joshua said to the people, “You cannot serve the Lord; for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions or your sins.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.


Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
