9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the Lord had told them; and the Lord accepted Job's prayer.

Then Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children.


Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They made an appointment together to come to condole with him and comfort him.


You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you; and you will pay your vows.


He delivers the innocent man; you will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”


And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.


Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly; for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”


Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already approved what you do.


The sons of those who oppressed you shall come bending low to you; and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.


even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, says the Lord God.


“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock;


His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”


So I sent to you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God, to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”


but rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”


By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go.
